FEATURES:

The SAIC Engine Room Display assembly includes a 19” LCD display, integrated three position keyboard and trackball tray, and a rugged desktop computer that is integrated into the assembly behind the display. The computer features the Intel D845GVAD2 motherboard, an Intel 2.40 GHz P4 CPU with 533 MHz FSB, supports up to 2 GB DDR RAM, integrated Intel Extreme Graphics port, up to four USB ports, one serial port, one parallel port, PS/2 keyboard and mouse ports, one Intel 10/100 port, and four PCI slots. One of the PCI slots is occupied with a SCSI controller card to support the integrated and front removable SCSI hard drive from the Engine Room Display, and is located below the display. An additional PCI slot is occupied with an Intel Pro/1000XF Fiber NIC.

SAIC is proud to offer their customers a fully integrated rugged assembly that houses a 19” Active Matrix Liquid Crystal (LCD) Flat Panel Display, rugged pull out/tilt down (three position keyboard with trackball), and computer enclosure designed to be used as an Engine Room Display for deployment on US NAVY Los Angeles and Seawolf classes of submarines. The Engine Room Display product is part of the Total Ship Monitoring Systems (TSMS) program that maximizes a submarines acoustic stealth advantage by providing continuous monitoring of ownship noise and alerting the crew to any conditions that could degrade the mission or performance capabilities of the submarine.
