The
Rugged 19” Intelligent Display 200 has an integrated
motherboard with an Intel 3.2GHz Extreme Edition CPU
(with Hyper-Threading Technology) with a 1 MB L2 Cache
that supports an 800 MHz FSB. 1 GB of DDR RAM is supported
by the motherboard and is the standard capacity installed
with the Rugged 19” Intelligent Display 200.
An 80 GB SATA Hard Drive is also provided as the standard
Hard Drive capacity though higher capacities are available
upon request. A standard CDRW/DVD (Slimline) and a
3.5” floppy disk drive are included. Integrated
on the motherboard is ATI’s RS300M graphics controller
that can use up to 128 MB of the System RAM for graphics
processing and display resolutions up to 1280 x 1024.
The motherboard also has an integrated 10/100 Network
Interface Card, one serial port, one parallel port,
and audio line in, out and microphone jacks, PS/2 Keyboard
and Mouse ports, dual USB 2.0 ports, and RCA TV output.

The Information Systems Integration Division (ISID) of SAIC’s
Tactical Information Systems Division has integrated a high
resolution color 19 inch Active-Matrix LCD Commercial-Off-The-Shelf
(COTS) display and computer into a rugged enclosure assembly
to offer our customers a new family of Intelligent Display
products. The family line is lightweight with minimal power
consumption and maximum space utilization. The Rugged 19”
Intelligent Display 200 is designed to meet the harsh environmental
requirements found in industrial environments, aboard surface
and subsurface ships, wheeled and tracked vehicles, and airborne
C4ISR display applications. Incorporating enhanced back lighting,
leading computing technology, and universal mounting options
the Rugged 19” Intelligent Display 200 provides unsurpassed
clarity, crispness in a thin Auto-Scan display, and processing
power. The Rugged 19” Intelligent Display 200 is the
mid-performance level in the Rugged 19” Intelligence
Display product family. SAIC also offers a high performance
(300) and an efficiency performance (100) level product in
the same form factor to accommodate varying levels of customers
needs.
