SAIC’s
Tactical Information Systems Division (TISD) has a full cable
production facility which produces cables of the finest quality
and reliability in a cost-effective manner. Our cables, which
meet MIL-SPEC cable requirements, are used for the Global
Command and Control System Maritime (GCCS-M), Joint Maritime
Command Information System (JMCIS), Navy Tactical Command
System Afloat (NTCS-A), and Naval Tactical Data Systems (NTDS).
Engineering evaluation selection, procurement, and integration
of COTS hardware into tactical environments are central to
our mission. SAIC has established a reputation second to none
for delivering quality products.
We
also install category 5 (BICSI Certify) high speed data, phone,
audio, video, and fiber optic cables for government and commercial
projects. We produce our cables according to MIL-SPEC 2000,
and are experienced in the making of ethernet, ribbon, coax,
trix, fiber, VGA, and PLT (Passive Link Tactical) cables.
TISD supplies harness modifications inhouse or in the field,
and will create specialty and custom cables according to customer
specification
.
