SAIC’s
Tactical Information Systems Division (TISD) designs rugged
mounting kits for HP Processors. These kits provide “plug
and play”, secure, stable mounting into existing or
new shipboard equipment cabinets, as well as for rugged commercial
or industrial environments.
TISD utilizes features
such as hinged access doors with viewing windows, rugged slide
mounts, drawer mounts, transition interface panels for secure
mounting and ease of access for both use and maintenance.
Internal
ruggedization kits help reduce the danger of system degradation
due to physical shock or vibration in commercial, industrial,
or tactical environments.
All
mounting kits are designed to meet MIL-S-901D Grade A Shock
and MIL-STD-167-1 Vibration requirements.
