with the SAIC Rugged B2600 workstation is an internal ruggedization
kit that provides additional support for improved stabilization
of components such as RAM and peripheral devices.
The
internal ruggedization kit helps reduce the danger of system
degradation due to a physical shock or vibration event in
a commercial, industrial, or tactical environment.
The
workstation is ideal for installing into harsh commercial
and industrial environment when the SAIC rack mounting kit
is installed. The SAIC standard rugged B2600 workstation
supports a single PA-8600 500 MHz CPU with 1 MB of cache,
up to 4 GB of system RAM, up to two 146 GB Ultra2 Low Voltage
Differential (LVD) SCSI hard drives, one 10/100 BaseT port,
two USB ports, CD-ROM drive, two serial ports, one parallel
port, four PCI slots, HP Visualize FXE graphics card, and

The
TigerShark is an EIA 19” wide, 3 RU (5.25” H)
Workstation Center. The basic Workstation Center includes:
one (1) of SAIC’s Rugged FPD’s, a rugged integrated
PS/2 keyboard/trackball, and one rugged KVM switch option.
