SAIC has designed and integrated a rugged 64-bit SUN Netra
240 Server suitable for incorporation into the harsh tactical/industrial
environment with focus on shipboard applications.
The Rugged Netra 240 Processor features dual UltraSparc IIIi
1.28 GHz processors with 4 GB of RAM, two (2) x 73 GB hard
drives and XVR-100 video card. The 2RU Rugged Solaris comes
ready for installation into the Navy’s existing operational
shipboard equipment cabinet and enclosure environments such
as GCCS-M. The 2RU Rugged Solaris Server 2 Rack Unit (RU)
design maximizes your existing rack space, and reduces your
Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) by providing future expandability.
